Allow me to make a blog after a long time of being absent here on tumblr for I might just pull all my hair off from all the stress.

This month of January was incredibly hectic for us. It all started with the giving of our “bible” this semester. We were given our blue book about the guidelines in doing our thesis. At first we didn’t really feel the pressure since we were only to think of a title and a rationale but as the weeks passed and we still haven’t gotten the approval of our professor, things escalated. It was only 4 weeks left for us then, before the deadline and we haven’t started anything. Another thing to worry about was my OJT which I’m actually still trying to process up till now, the resume, sending it to companies that you do not know whether or not they’ll accept you, the interviews which were during school days so I had to be absent in several subjects. All these I had to juggle.

It wasn’t only academics. I also have a parish involvement and it just so happens that the second baptismal scrutiny which only of course my church friends are aware of was at the same time as our thesis.

Physically, mentally, emotionally I am exhausted and yet there is fulfillment.

Eventually all these will end, and I’m truly going to miss them, especially the second baptismal scrutiny.

Everything will be worth it.

Mother just told me her thesis in high school was about life after death. I'm doing Media imaging of faith in movies about exorcism. May pinagmanahan :))

Zambales Base Metals Inc.:

I asked my father about my grandfather’s business before and he told me the name (Zambales Base Metals Inc) so I searched the name on google and found this fanpage on facebook. Apparently the workers before had their reunion in 2011 with their sons and daughters. I’ve heard numerous stories about this but they didn’t tell me the name and how big it was before. This was the history of my grandfather’s business in Zamboanga, along with some other people. I wish I had the chance to actually meet him and ask him about how he, along with his partners, were able to establish a company like this without corruption. A true genius. Francisco J. Raymundo. May he rest in peace.

As I was searching on google to find information about my ancestors, I found this blog entry: http://urbanroamer.wordpress.com/2012/05/05/the-historic-pasig-town-center-part-1/ and found out that there’s such a thing as the “Raymundo house” where my ancestors lived in and apparently, it’s one of the oldest houses here in Pasig. Grabe, I’ve been living here for 19 years, ngayon ko lang to nalaman :| THIS IS SO FREAKY.

Having a senti moment looking at this picture of my block. I’m going to miss these girls. We have only 3 semesters to go. Ang bilis! Parang kailan lang we were arguing how to spend our 5 hours of break and now, here we are, juniors, about to do our thesis and hopefully, graduate with flying colors :))

I didn’t know figuring out what to do with the attribute level in our laddering can be this hard, considering that we only need to put the main ingredients. What I’ve learned about advertising is that ever single detail should be accurate, or else, the whole thing will collapse. This is hard for someone like me, someone who is carefree.

So after hours and hours of trying to do our laddering, eto lang yon:

Dati di ko to masyado maintindihan, siguro kasi mabababaw lang rin yung mga pinagdaanan ko nun. hahaha! Pero habang tumatagal, habang nakikipagsapalaran sa mga binabatong problema ng buhay, makikilala mo ang sarili mo at ang kapasidad mong gumawa at sumira. Meron kang kalayaan para piliin ang tama o ang mali; Meron ka rin kalayaan upang tumalikod sa dati mong maling nakagawian. Habang buhay, hindi pa huli ang lahat. Mas mabuti na na nasa kalagitnaan ka nagising kesa sa huli ka pa magsisi. Kaya naman sang-ayon ako sa pag tulak ng sarili sa kaya nitong gawin, dahil doon mo lang makikita ang totoong nilalaman ng iyong damdamin.
